PLINTH       STEP 1:    DEFINE AND BUILD HOUSE PLINTH

	The plinth is a major, critically important feature of every house. It should be at least 60 cm off the ground, but variable above that height according to region and intensity of monsoon. The plinth is to be built as a perimeter concrete block or brick-and-cement-mortar wall, with rubble infill, and a thin concrete topping. The front edge may contain ornament made by the family.
