We have a team of dedicated people, writing, running, and maintaining this website. It is enormously expensive to keep it going, yet we feel we must do so. The membership fee, though extremely modest, is the main way we finance the site. We do not want to allow advertising, and will not do so.Grants are few and far between, and spending energy chasing grants takes away from the hard work we enjoy most, of expanding and improving the site. At present less than one third of one percent of the people who use this site, are active members. If you understand this problem then First, please make sure you are an active member, and Second, please ask all those among your friends, colleagues, and associates, who share your beliefs in our need to make a better world, to join us as members, too.
