Genome Project for a Living World

Return to Site Map

The undertaking we are engaged in is vast. To define sequences that will help people in all kinds of different endeavors, buildings, parks, roads, houses, hospitals, schools, communities and neighborhoods, will require the collective effort of many hundreds of people over the next two decades.

One conservative effort suggests that there may be as many as 40,000 sequences needed to generate a living world. All these sequences have to be thought out, tested, re-tested, used by people to find out what isn't working, then replaced... and so on.

We are doing what we can, but we hope for your understanding when we say that what is visible on this site, on any one given day, must inevitably be incomplete.

If you are interested in helping to write sequences, or test sequences, please let us know. You can click the blue circle and we will let you know how you can help
